QualityPro Certified

Pioneer Pest Management is QualityPro certified by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA). Known as “the mark of excellence in pest control,” the Quality Pro designation is given to an elite group of pest control companies in the U.S. To achieve the QualityPro designation, each technician and staff member must undergo a rigorous testing and training process, submit to a background check, and adhere to a strict code of conduct.

QualityPro companies are environmentally responsible, and committed to providing consumers with the highest possible service. Certification is built around the four key principles of Business Operations, Consumer Relations, Environmental Stewardship, and Technician Training.

To be eligible, a company must fulfill a strict set of requirements including all the following.

Company must:

  • Assess applicants based on a written job application, personal interview, reference check, criminal background, and motor vehicle records checks.
  • Have a drug-free workplace policy, a standard dress policy, and an on-the-job safety policy.
  • Meet QualityPro insurance policy requirements, service vehicle standards, and advertising standards.
  • Have a termite warranty/service agreement that meets requirements.
  • Have a customer communications policy and provide an IPM information sheet to consumers.
  • Test and train employees to the highest industry standards.
  • Ensure that technicians and sales employees pass a state administered or QualityPro exam and practice proper pesticide handling.
  • Agree to complaint-triggered audits ensuring adherence to QualityPro guidelines.
