Pioneer Pest Management's Bed Bug DogGrissom is Pioneer Pest Management’s bed bug detection dog. Like his namesake on the TV show, CSI, Grissom could be called a forensic entomologist.

But the bad guys that our Grissom finds are the bed bugs that make their way into homes, apartments and hotels with luggage, bags, furniture or even visitors.

When properly trained, bed bug detection dogs have been proven to enhance bed bug inspections, sniffing out bed bug hiding spots that may have been missed in a purely visual inspection.

Pioneer Pest Management worked with one of the country’s top canine scent detection programs in the training of Grissom. After a two-month bed bug-detection course, Grissom attended an additional week-long course to train his Pioneer handlers.
