First Time I’ve Been Compelled to Write a Review
I’ve been online for over 12 years and I’ve never felt compelled to write a review — not for a book, a restaurant, a movie — what have you. But we just bought a house and when we moved in there were mice and some large creature living in our walls. Pioneer was the second service we had out to the house and I wish they had been the first. Their wildlife management specialist, Jason, spent an incredible amount of time with us, walking the entire house to help us understand how to prevent future mice issues (the other company simply walked in, dropped some traps and charged us $179), and when we couldn’t locate the large creature we had been hearing in the walls, he tested everything else he could think of and figured out that the phone line was vibrating due to squirrel activity in the trees — problem solved. He didn’t make us feel incompetent for not figuring that out on our own and he didn’t make us feel like we wasted his time when our problem was with the phone company — not a pest. When you are new to town and you don’t know anybody, Google is very often your best bet for finding a solution to a problem and, even then, you’re guessing. I hope this review helps someone find the best pest management company we’ve found around Portland

Very Pleasant and Knowledgeable
I really enjoy all of your technicians but Jason really went above and beyond. It was a very cold day and that he was very pleasant even though he could have been grumpy due to being cold and wet from the weather conditions. He went above and beyond by pointing out a gutter that was clogged as well as leaving a few mouse traps set up in the shed to address the mouse droppings he found. Jason was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
